Which blanket do I choose???????
The tack whore inside me wants both but I can only choose one..
The name brand Amigo stable sheet at a lower price but FUGLY color
OR the pretty Blue plaid off brand stable sheet thats JUST slightly more expensive.
Decisions.
I already got Amber a couple of cheapo blankets in purple. I have no clue how hard she is on blankets, although she did wear a sheet last winter that was a piece of crap (borrowed) outside, but she was only in a round pen, without room to get in trouble. But I figured if she can keep her cheap blankets intact, that's good, or if she butchers then beyond repair, at least she didn't butcher an expensive one the same way, right?
ReplyDeleteOkay, rambling. It kind of depends on how much "JUST slightly more expensive" is. Because you're pretty much paying for color, if they're about the same quality. Guilty of that myself at times. If it's not purple or navy, we dun wan' it!
Emma, my horse, is not particularly difficult on blankets - so I thought there would be no harm in buying her a GORGEOUS off brand pink/brown plaid stable sheet... Within two hours it was in tatters around her ankles and she was all "blinkblink" about the affair... So, I bucked up and bought a baker sheet and have been happily living in No-Rip/No-Tear Land ever since... Just my .02 cents.
ReplyDeleteQuality is more important... =)

ReplyDeleteI mean amigo
ReplyDeleteI have amigos, they last, and they FIT!
ReplyDeleteI would go with the Amigo.... but as far as color goes could you wait for another one to show up with a prettier color? Or maybe buy this one and sell it when a prettier color comes along? Regardless, choose the Amigo. It'll def be a one-time purchase haha!
ReplyDeleteBut Amingos come in black. How is that ugly?
