WOW, F**K you too.

**WARNING: Language. Legit Pissed.**

So I wasn't going to post for a few days because I am feeling quit lackluster with the death of Spirit. However, a friend emailed me about a post on SnarkyRider that basically bashed the f**king shit out of me. I just adore her self righteous bullshit banter, sticking her nose in my personal business/life and giving her opinion on matters she has NO knowledge of whatsoever. LOVE.

Offended? Hell yes. Bitchfit? Hell yes. Call me immature for bitching on the internet? Sure, isn't that what personal blogs are for? Also, I don't care who sees this. I am not OK with what she did.

I LOVE Fuglyblog but what the f**k SnarkyRider? I get it, you're snarky. So am I. You bitch about things that piss you off/annoy you/ are wrong/abusive. That, my friend, I am not.

This is the picture she posted on her blog of me on my mini, Zephyr:

She proceeded to call me an uneducated asshat who mistreats horses. WOW, fantastic job Snarky Rider. You know nothing of the situation. NOTHING. Shall I inform you?

Let me explain to you Snarkybitch. You say a person should never ride a mini who looks like that? Yeah she does look pretty pissed, but a little BG info for you. She was pastured with my TB, Yankee and a cow my family owns. I hadn't seen her in over 6 months because I go to college in MO. I also had recently gotten severely injured, so they had to wait till they could come to Missouri, until I could walk without crutches. Anyways, she hates the cow, but this was our dry lot, as she cannot have much grass (note big belly), which was why they were together. He was coming up behind her, thus her ears were back. She IS a pony and quite the bitch towards things she dislikes. ALSO, I have flip flops on from said surgery/injury. YOU try wearing boots over an injury. Also, I sat on her for 30 seconds. THIRTY. I do this often, since its fun, and I hope one day to have my future children ride her. She in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM has issues holding me. AT ALL. Please though, continue to tell me how much of a horrible person I am for loving on my animals after an extended absence and PLEASE pardon the fact that the second this photo was snapped, devil cow was coming up behind me.

Gaze your judgmental eyes upon this, my friend. She is fine. And not pissed.

Please for the love of god, get your information straight before you judge the shit out of people. I do not appreciate being paraded around the internet, made to look like a complete douchebag. Ask anyone who knows me and my horses. They are well cared for and spoiled beyond belief. I would never do anything to harm them, including riding my mini around. Sitting on her, however, is not an issue.

I would also like to point out that the second picture you posted was of an extremely overweight woman, legitimately riding that poor mini around. THAT my friend is abuse. Straight up. How dare you compare me to that person. In no way was Zephyr under stress or abused.

Thanks.

  1. I fucking hate people.
I'm sorry this happened to you. :(

P.S. I can't get over how adorable Zephyr is. I love her :P

  2. Im pretty sure we can all see who the asshole is here.
And she is the best pony :)

  3. You cannot see her point of view at all?

  4. Considering the weight ratio acceptable for riding horses/ponies/minis; I cannot see why you are pissed. You claim to know and love horses, yet you pull this kind of stunt and post the picture where everyone can see it...grow up. You have an injury that prevents a boot, yet you risk more injury being stupid, then get mad when called out about it...grow up.

    1. MKAY I'll do just that :) while you all keep on with your bitching and judgemental "adult" commentary. I am not ashamed of what I do with my horses and find nothing wrong with loving on my pony.
Of course I am mad when someone says shit like that about me, that is not who I am; an animal abuser. See below comment. You guys are so wound up about every little thing with your self righteous all knowing attitudes that you could shove a piece of coal up your asses and out would come a diamond. There are so many worse things I could be doing. Z and Yankee are in perfect health and I would never put them in a dangerous situation. Please take your close minded bulshit elsewhere :)
Another thing. Grow some balls and post with your name, anonymous. Gotta hide behind anonymity because you're probably one of those people who gets off hating on the internet, hiding behind your little anonymous moniker. At least I have the sense to stand behind my beliefs and back it up with my name.

    2. Just pointing out....saying that 'there are so many worse things I could be doing', really doesn't make for a good argument.
Kinda like telling CPS: yeah, I beat them, but I could be doing so many worse things, like starving them.
Abuse is abuse - just cause you could be doing worse things as you say, doesn't mean you should be doing this.

    3. Agreed. I said that though to show a difference between the losers who literally abuse horses in so many harsh and sick ways, and me. Completely different. I've lost the gusto for arguing because some people really are just set in their ways and can't be deterred from hating no matter what my supporters and I say, So I'm pretty much past the point of caring anymore. I'm not hurting her, but apparently there are some people who just swear that I am. Whatever!

  5. NO I see it, but she is wrong. I am not hurting her, in fact, Z has never once had an issue with me being on her. She tends to look back at me and nuzzle my leg or lick me, which is her way of affection. Snarky doesn't have the right to call me out on something she has no understanding of. I am really offended that someone who "knows" me sent the picture to her actually. And the fact that I am on that page, thrown in there like the rest of the douchbags who legit abuse horses, and do all kinds of horrible things. What I do with my mini is MY business and it is all in fun. If Z EVER showed signs of stress or pain, I wouldn't do it.

  6. the whole point behind the snarkyrider blog was to say that too often full grown people ride minis, not just sit on them. she was not bashing you and only you she was making a statement that minis are not ment to be ridden by adults unless of coarse they stand 4ft nothing. its really immature to only read the post and see her bashing you when really your picture was just an example that she was using. she was talking about a general topic, if you dont like what was said dont read it and get over it. she had a damn good point and even just for a little while sitting on your pony when she starts to get age on her is risky. she is a cute little pony and no she doesnt looks pissed int he second pic but that was NOT the point of the article. and riding in flip flops is dangerous, thats all she pointed out but if thats a risk your willing to take then go for it, i do ride barefoot and in flip flops frequently during the summer just because its cooler. how about reading the article with an open mind before flying off the handle and saying they were attacking you, if they were they would not have blurred your face (or put the smiley over it) and would have used your name in the blog. GROW UP!

  7. and since you wanna act like we are hiding behind the ANONYMOUS nbame, look me up on FB Jamie Bush Murray, i just didnt feel like setting up an account or linking one into the page (i was the one that wrote the last comment starting out "the whole point behind the blog..."

  8. Get your ass off that pony. You are too big and you know it. If I saw you doing that at any auction house in any state I would call you out for acting like a red neck. You know better. You are just embarrassed you got razed on it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Auction house??
And no not at all, or I would have never originally posted the picture. I'm pretty sure I state the reason I am pissed is that I am compared to the assholes who legit abuse horses. and FYI, not riding. Sitting. For half a minute. Get off your high horse.

      Delete
  9. What you did was abuse plain and simple. It is general knowledge that a horse should not carry more than 20% of their weight. You must be over 50%, how is that not abuse?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh get off your high (tiny) horse already. You clearly love your horses and are no stranger to the internet. Did you think you would get a free pass from the Online Equine Safety Patrol for sitting on the mini and riding without boots, for being a nice person?

I had never visited that other blog, don't like to read that sort of thing, but while they did lift your photo they didn't link to you or mention you by name. You aren't being slandered. So take a chill pill - we are reading your blog to see what you are doing with your OTTB, not to see you berate your readers in the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Call me crazy, but it is general knowledge that anyone who blogs with an anonymous name on a controversial issue is not normally a reader, or is afradi fto reveal identity. You see it on Fugly all the time. I assumed they were people from Snark's blog znd not normal readers, because none of my readers have ever expressed disliek for any of my practices. Probably shouldn't have assumed. Either way, the fact is that I feel I am not in the wrong and felt that I should let Snarky know I am offended she used my picture. Simple as that. You all can think what you want but it is not abuse in my eye. She is never in pain and is completely fine with it. If anyone would love to come observe, thats cool with me. But I am not in the same class as those who give horses up for slaughter, physically beat, harm, or mutilate for shits and gigs or noncaring, I do not use harsh bits on my horses, I don't neglect to feed or water them, I don't sore them, I don't tie their heads down, etc etc etc.
Feel free to think that me sitting on my pony is wrong, but I don't.

    1. The blogger probably had a topic in mind and did a google image search, and used what they found. Being talked about is just part and parcel of putting yourself out there, you get the good and the bad.

The mini-sitting photo op is probably up there with everybody's favorite converesations: draw reins, starting at X years, jumping barrels, etc. Dividing and occasionally heated topics. Is it a sin? Who's doing it, and under what circumstances? You know how that goes.

      Delete
    2. Yeah I know. I was just uber offended.
And someone who knows me gave her the photo. Makes me wonder who....

  12. I honestly have to thank you for the mid-day entertainment.

I do feel sorry for that mini though. You are way too big to be riding or even sitting on that small of a horse. You really were not being attacked, so you might want to gain perspective (don't we all wish we could?) and take another look. Your face was not shown, your blog was not linked on the post, and I'm fairly certain that, until you posted this, most people were not really interested in finding out who you were and why you did what you did.

Consider what has been said, and be mature.

Oh, and one last thing: There are worse things that could've happened to you than being razed for the photo you posted in a public place.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Haters gonna hate. Sorry I was offended.
Immature? Probably. But it is my personal blog and I do what I want.
I realize this (your above statement), but to me, being included and compared to the other woman in the post (and in general to what the blog pertains to), is offensive and I DO care enough to make it known. I don't care if I was flying off the handle. I AGREE with her and that mini horses should not be ridden. However, Z is pretty stout at 450lbs and I wasn't riding.
Anyways, I'm bored with this now. I've simmered down.

  14. I personally hate blogs like snarkyrider and Fugly. I seriously don't understand how they can have nothing better to do than criticize others. I wouldn't ride Mini, and there are some true idiots in the world, but I don't see a problem with what you were doing with Z. It's obvious you love her. Ignore stupid people on the idiot.

    2. Hmm yes, me too. How dare they poke at people who abuse and hurt horses. All the bad trainers, abusers, TWH soring, Slaughterhouse Sue, $ham and CBER, bad rescues. Terrible, horrible people. I hope they burn in hell. (Actually, I probably will, if there is a hell. But at least I'll be warm and will know lots of people!)

Hey, thanks for posting this today. Hope you got a lot of views to your blog because of it! :D

    3. Hey I did! Over 300 hits. But, I posted just for you. Since I'm pretty sure I am not one of those horrible excuses of human beings that you normally write about & I was pissed you made me look like one.

    4. There is a difference between "poking" (your word, not mine) at idiots who beat the living hell out of horses on a daily basis and being down right rude and nasty about a situation you know nothing about.

  15. That is freaking crazyyyy! A month or two ago I had someone on YouTube tell me I'm to big for my 15.1 hh mare bc I am 5'11 and that my circle was to small. Crazy.

  16. If it makes you feel any better, I recently wound up on bad_riding with CP. My response is, "Let's see you ride him."

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm not gonna lie. If I had a mini, I'd probably sit on it all the time. Clearly I'm a horrible person too.

    ReplyDelete
  18. LOL the internet is so silly. Like these people know your situation personally and your horse and can tell you that they know better than you from behind a computer screen. Hurp!

    ReplyDelete
  19. My last horse was a POA/Icelandic cross. People would express concern ALL THE TIME when I rode him.
Sometimes people just like to hear themselves give advice and feel important. That being said, unless the said person is a reputable trainer or an experienced horseman, pay them no mind.
I know, easier said than done, especially since she used your photo as an example for what not to do. Blah.
    RUDE.

    ReplyDelete
  20. whatevs..I've sat on minis too. Big whoop. SAT, not rode around-same as you. The same people that are screaming at you for 'abuse' all probably do some form of abuse and not know it (isn't there plenty in the equestrian world and haven't we ALL done something in our past that we look back and think, shit, I wouldn't do that now-wrong bits, ill fitted saddles, wrongs meds, etc etc etc etc etc)...so it's real easy to be an a'hole and judge others and make things to be a bigger deal than it is-such as your picture. Plain and simple; They stole your picture and ranted over it. Not cool. YOU-Remain a cool ass chic as you are and continuing having fun on your loved Ponies. I do not read those types of bashing blogs. Too much negativity and filled to the brim with BS in my opinion.

What would you suggest in regards to your post that you just made a few days in

  23. I think that what you posted was actually very logical. But, what about this?
suppose you added a little information? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your website, but suppose you added something that grabbed people's attention?
I mean "WOW, F**K you too." is a little boring.
You could look at Yahoo's home page and see how they create news headlines to get people to open the links. You might add a video or a related pic or two to get people interested about what you've written.
Just my opinion, it could make your posts a little bit more interesting.

  24. Notice how when one person (Kristen) made some sense, there were no more posts!

I have to agree with Kristen that Checkmark115 did not do anything that bad. Her horse is obviously in good care.

If anyone wants to point fingers, then stop belly aching about nothing and start giving attention to local horse charities. THESE are the people who face situations of real abuse on a daily basis.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Correction on the post before this one. I meant that Local Horse Charities are saviors and they face the real abusers., so please give to them kindly for their hard work.

The gal who sat on her mini is only a person who loves her horse. The horse is fine. And probably a lucky horse to be hers.

    God bless!
